About Derek Beaupre

I am proud to have been a member of the Hampton community for over 20 years. My wife and I have raised our three wonderful children here and plan to continue making Hampton our home. The exceptional quality of life in Hampton is what initially drew us here, and I am committed to preserving and enhancing that quality for future generations.

Throughout the years, I have had active involvement in local programs, including the annual Hampton Beach Seafood Festival, coaching Hampton Youth Association and Hampton Attack Soccer Club, and volunteering during the Town of Hampton, NH general election. My involvement over many years has equipped me with a sense of pride, and provided valuable skills to effectively advocate for our community’s needs.

With over 30 years of experience in the medical device industry, I possess a deep understanding of navigating government regulations. My roles as an engineer, project manager, and Quality & Regulatory department head have sharpened my ability to collaborate with diverse groups, listen to stakeholders, and implement creative solutions that address challenges while staying on schedule and within budget.

I firmly believe in teamwork, transparency, accountability, and fostering an inclusive environment where every voice is valued. My vision for Hampton includes promoting sustainable development, maintaining our excellent public services in a cost-effective manner, and ensuring that the town’s economic growth benefits all residents.  My mission is to use my experience to drive continual improvement, while setting aside political agendas, and to always do my best for Hampton. 

My goal is to focus on solving problems, as an engineer does, researching to fully define the problem, using logic and creativity to scope out a solution, testing the proposed solution to ensure it will work as expected, verifying that the solution is implemented correctly, and finally validating that the solution is truly effective.
